On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
25 February, 2012
Rugby Road, Twickenham, London

It's England's first match at Twickenham, and they're meeting
their Welsh rivals at 4pm.
The largest stadium in Britain, Twickenham has a seating capacity
of 82,000, and a history dating back to the beginning of the 20th
century. The terraces frequently reverberate to the strains of
'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot', which has become the anthem of the
British rugby supporters.
A visit to the home of British rugby is perfectly situated for a
drive around the historic sights of south-west London. Don't miss
the neo-Palladian Chiswick House and the stunning Marble Hill
House. Syon House, opposite Kew Gardens, is the last remaining
ducal residence and country estate in Greater London.
