London, 15 January 2026 - The Debrett’s Advisory team has strengthened its London office with a series of senior hires, enhancing its national M&A offering and deepening capability across Consumer, Research and deal execution.
The appointments follow the opening of the London office in September and reflect continued investment in experienced, partner-led advice for founders, shareholders and management teams across the UK mid-market.
Alex Patey joins as Partner, bringing deep experience advising consumer and leisure businesses. His appointment further strengthens the Debrett’s Advisory team’s sector expertise and its ability to support clients navigating evolving market dynamics.
Richard Boyden joins as Senior Director, adding further depth to the team’s execution capability across live mandates.
Greg Watterson joins as Head of Research, leading the team’s deal research and market intelligence capability. His role supports transaction preparation and strategic decision-making, ensuring clients benefit from well-informed advice throughout the process.
Olivia Norris joins as Senior Principal, enhancing the team’s deal support and providing additional sector coverage across priority markets.
Fiona Williams joins as Client Services Officer, supporting client delivery and transaction processes across the Advisory team.
The expanded team works alongside Clive Hatchard, Head of Advisory, and Mark Farlow, Partner, further strengthening the London office and the Debrett’s Advisory team’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality advice nationally.

The growth of the London team forms part of the wider expansion of the Debrett’s Group, which also includes its established Heritage business, growing Investments and Coaching practices, and its recent entry into Wealth Management through a strategic partnership with London-based financial planners Mulberry Bow.
The Group is chaired by Darryl Eales and advised by Richard Sanders, Richard Swann and Andrew Blazye, bringing extensive experience across investment, private equity and professional services.
