I have an etiquette query. Can I speak to one of your experts?
Comprehensive etiquette advice is available on our website and in our books. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please email enquiries@debretts.co.uk and one of the Debrett’s team will get back to you.
Is there a minimum sign-up period for your subscription service?
No, you can cancel your subscription at any time.
How can I track my order?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide tracking information for orders placed on our website. If you have not received your order within the estimated timeframe, or if you have received an item that is damaged or faulty, please email enquiries@debretts.co.uk
Please note, international orders can take up to five weeks to reach some parts of the world. You may find it easier and quicker to place orders for delivery outside of the UK with a supplier in the country in question or order via Amazon.
Do you offer etiquette coaching?
Yes, our expert coaches work with teams and individuals to improve confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills. Please email coaching@debretts.co.uk for more information.
Do you offer a family tree service?
No, we don’t currently provide this service. We recommend contacting Debrett Ancestry Research, formerly part of Debrett’s, for help tracing your family tree.
I am writing an article. Can I speak to someone at Debrett’s for a quote?
Please email press@debretts.co.uk with the details of your enquiry and your deadline, and one of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
How do I update my entry in Debrett’s?
Contact the editorial team via peerage@debretts.co.uk
Please make sure you include the name of the titled family you belong to in your email.
My family used to appear in Debrett’s but no longer does. Can I be reinstated?
Yes, providing your family line meets the criteria, we are happy to reinstate your line. Contact the editor at peerage@debretts.co.uk for further information.
Do you record Lordships or Feudal Titles?
We record the genealogies of hereditary peers and baronets and life peers of the United Kingdom. We do not record lordships of the manor or non-British titles; the only exception would be if such titles were held by a current entrant.
We are working on providing an area showing the current Scottish Chiefs and Scottish Feudal Lords. We hope to have this area available as part of our subscription package in the New Year (2024).
I want to buy a copy of Debrett’s Peerage and Baronetage, but can’t find it on sale in your shop.
Debrett’s Peerage and Baronetage is no longer published in traditional form. You can subscribe to our online database here: www.debretts.com/membership
The database has all the data from the last edition with the added benefit that it has been regularly updated and significantly expanded since then and continues to be updated daily.
Back copies of Debrett’s can often be found for sale on one of the many online booksellers or local antiquarian or charity bookshops.
